AERDO Occasional Papers: The AERDO Occasional Papers series is published by the Association of Evangelical Relief and Development Organizations. Its purpose is to provide a forum in which critical issues in relief and development can be raised and discussed.

Ask a Missionary: The askamissionary newsletter (itís free!) answers your questions with responses from missionaries around the world. Once a month your e-mail in-box will receive a message bursting with answers from real-life missionaries to questions such as Ö How can I know if God is calling me overseas? Iím afraid of raising support. What do I do? etc.

Billy Graham Center Archives: Numerous collections of papers for selected evangelists and missionaries housed in the BGC archives (from the Auca five to Corrie ten Boom to Charles Colson and Television Evangelism). Also available are selected transcripts and recordings of interviews with missionaries and Christian leaders. Not all of the collections are available online, but a listing of the collections is available that runs several pages.

Brigada Top Mission Resources: Dozens of mission related links, including materials, books, courses, messages, papers, conferences, software, etc.

Christian Center for Asian Studies' Third World Theology Collection: Collection of online papers and books from Asian ecumenical theologians on various theological issues and perspectives.

Christian Classics Ethereal Library: One of the most extensive online collections available. "Classic Christian books in electronic format, selected for your edification. There is enough good reading material here to last you a lifetime, if you give each work the time it deserves! All of the books on this server are believed to be in the public domain in the United States unless otherwise specified. Copy them freely for any purpose. Outside of the US, check your local copyright laws."

ChurchPlanters e-mail Conference: The vision for the CHURCHPLANTERS conference is for Church Planters to build up and encourage each other through the sharing of overall vision, questions, specific problems, experiences, testimonies and practical suggestions. Other Christians who are interested in church planting are also welcome. Of special interest is Archive and Resource pages, each providing multiple links to books, organizations, articles, etc. available online.

Global Evangelization Movement: The goal of GEM is to point the way to the least evangelized. They provide numerous collections of documents that enable this, from an undated table of Global Statistics to back issues of their electronic publication "Monday Morning Reality Check."

Gospel & Culture Papers The task of the Gospel & Culture Network is to "discern and make known the form of God's work in our culture." Under that guiding orientation, this site includes several sections of free articles and materials: 1) Introductory Articles: and a select bibliography; 2) Historical articles; 3) Biographical surveys of influential figures; and 4) Bibliographies.

Lausanne Occasional Papers: A classic set of papers published by Lausanne and now made available online. The Occasional Papers are historically important documents that have emerged from global consultations involving widely recognized evangelical leaders.

Mission Mobilizer Database: This database is an organized collection of all the Mission Mobilization Resources covered in the Brigada-orgs-missionmobilizers email conference from March 1995 through June 1998.

Network 935 (Holistic Ministry) Papers: Papers dedicated to issues related to helping churches engage in holistic ministry.

Network for Strategic Missions Knowledge Base: Searchable and growingcollection of articles (over 2500) related to mission ranging from news to testimonies to academic articles.

Online Books Page: Religions section contains many classic Christian books dealing with missions elements. This collection is growing regularly, and is worth bookmarking for those interested in historical research.

Project Gutenberg Collection "The Project Gutenberg Philosophy is to make information, books and other materials available to the general public in forms a vast majority of the computers, programs and people can easily read, use, quote, and search." The goal is to have 10,000 books online by the end of 2000! You can view them (.ftp) in your browser, download them to your computer, or e-mail them to yourself. To see an example, go to the book by George Smith entitled The Life of William Carey, Shoemaker & Missionary.

SEN Papers: SEN is a non-profit organisation whose income is based on gifts and donations from those who value our work and ministry. SEN Study Papers are written by researchers from Central Europe or missionaries with long term experience in the region. They explore various issues of significance for ministry in this part of the world. We request that a donation be sent for each downloaded paper. Our suggestion is a gift of $10 USD or equivalent. All the proceeds from the sale of our papers go towards funding future study projects and to pay salaries of researchers.

SIL Academic Publications: SIL provides over 150 publications available for sale on-line, and numerous other working papers that are free. Also online is Ethnologue, the definitive catalog of the world's languages.

The Traveling Team: Provides numerous articles online related to mission, mission mobilization, women in mission, the missionary call, etc.

Academic and Individual Collections

ACU Mission Resources Pages: This collection, one of several, is made available by Abiline Christian University, includes several articles dealing with doctrinal issues, practical preparation, supporting national pastors, and so on.

Brazil 2010: Book describing a mission strategy used in Brazil (in Portuguese and English).

Brigada Research Papers: Some people have done research into the relationship between the Internet, the church, and evangelism; or related subjects. These papers are usually detailed in-depth doctoral material, and not light reading!

Bulletin for Contextual Theology: The Bulletin for Contextual Theology began as a bibliographic project in the School of Theology at the University of Natal in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, to gather and annotate a database of resources for contextual theology in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Joe Cannon online books on missions: The following books are made available on line in Adobe Acrobat format from Harding University: "The Heart of the Missionary" (78 pages) "Go For the Globe" (133 pages) "For Missionaries Only" (91 Pages).

Howard Culbertson Courses and Materials: Courses and links from this Professor of Mission at Southern Nazarene University.

Dictionary of African Christian Biography: New and growing online database of African Christians. This promises to be a significant resource for years to come, giving direct access to the stories of significant African Christians.

Glenn Schwartz Articles: Focus on dependency and self-reliance issues for the church in Africa.

ISOT Faculty Articles: A collection of faculty and student articles and monographs from the International School of Theology.

John Roxborogh Theology of Missions Materials: A collection of papers and bibliographieswere developed by John Roxborogh for teaching missiology at the Bible College of New Zealand.

Leadership University online papers on Evangelism and Missions: Collection of dozens of articles on missions and evangelism, with a focus on evangelism issues in the United States.

Moravian Missionaries: The Moravian missionary presence among the Inuit of Labrador: original documents, maps, pictures, studies, and a tutorial in the old German script, in which many of the Moravian documents are preserved. Pictured is Count Nikolaus Ludwig von Zinzendorf (1700-1760), the re-founder of the Moravians, who also gave his reluctant blessings to the first missionary journey to Labrador in 1752.

Scott Moreau: Numerous missions courses with supporting materials and slide shows as well as articles, documents, links to further resources and bibliographies available from his home page.

Wheaton College Missions Department Postings of Papers, Articles, and Presentations: Collection of selected articles and presentations available online dealing with a variety of issues related to mission.

Virtual Office of William Lane Craig: A series of articles dealing the historical Jesus from a conservative evangelical point of view.
