Kindle and Nook Putting the Operation World book on your Kindle, Nook, and other portable devices

You can use either the ePUB (OW2010-DVD.epub) or PDF (this file, OW2010-DVD.pdf)
file on your portable device. Consult the instructions for your device to determine which format you should use. The ePUB format will generally work best for devices with small screens, small memory or that lack a simple means of zooming in and out on a PDF page.

For devices that appear as external disks when plugged into your computer, you may be able to drag and drop the DVD-ROM content to an appropriate folder on your device as
described above. 

Many devices require you to use special synchronization software (such as iTunes for the iPhone and iPod Touch) on your computer to move data to your portable device. Such systems are likely to sort the content by file type (PDF, MP4, etc.) and disregard the intended folder structure; as a result, links to additional content from the PDF file may not work on your device. See the instructions for your device's synchronization software.

To move the ePub or PDF version of Operation World to your Nook:

1. Attach your Nook using the USB cable to your computer. In Windows it will load like a flash drive, in Mac it will mount like a flash drive.
2. In Windows, open up "Computer" or Windows Explorer or in Mac open the Finder.
3. Go to the root or first folder of the DVD-ROM or CD ROM.
4. Right click on the ePub or PDF file and click copy.
5. Go to the Nook, you will see several folders.
6. Open the "My Documents" folder, right click in that folder and select paste. Do not copy the book to the ePub folder, that folder is only for books from your Barnes and Noble account.
7. The Operation World book should now be on your Nook in your "My Documents" folder.
