Focus on South East Asia Map Set

Valerie Lim, a mission researcher from Singapore, has developed this beautiful full-color set of ten maps to introduce South East Asia's geography, history, linguistic diversity, religions and economic growth areas to those unfamiliar with the region. South East Asia is a place of tremendous change and exciting challenge. Islam, Buddhism, animism and Hinduism vie with Christianity for the hearts and souls of the 500 million people in the region.

Maps themes include:

    1. Nations in South East Asia.
    2. South East Asia - Population Density by Province
    3. Major Indigenous Empires in South East Asia from 500 to 1500AD
    4. Major World Religions in South East Asia in 1500AD
    5. Western Colonial Powers in South East Asia in 1900
    6. Majority Religion in the Nations of South East Asia
    7. Evangelical Christians in South East Asia
    8. Major Language Families on Mainland South East Asia
    9. Major Language Families in Island South East Asia
    10. Economic Growth Areas in South East Asia

These maps were specifically designed to help church and mission leaders communicate the context of Christian mission in this large and diverse region. The accompanying Leader's Guide provides clear and extensive supplementary material. This map set, along with many others, is available on the WorldVue CD-ROM and the Mission InfoBank website.
