Portable Device Issues Trying to view the Operation World CD-ROM or DVD-ROM on a portable device? Read technical support here

Content on the Operati0n World CD-ROM (PDF only)  and DVD-ROM (PDF, ePUB eBook, MP4 Video, PowerPoint, etc.) is intended to be usable on a wide variety of portable devices (e-readers, smartphones, tablets, PDAs, etc.). Most devices will handle some forms of OW content better than others, and some may not support content types at all. Because it was impractical to test Operation World on all possible devices in existence at the time the CD and DVD were produced, we have created these forums to let our users inform each other of good and bad experiences using different combinations of devices, software, and content. Forums are being developed for the following devices:

Specific Device and Firmware Version: Amazon Kindle 3

Content type: EPUB version converted to MOBI version via Calibre conversion tool

App/Software name/version: Calibre conversion of EPUB to MOBI

Overall rating (Fail, Poor, Good, Excellent): Overall rating good, but poor for tables that predominate at the beginning of each country or region

Comments: I used Calibre.com to convert EPUB to MOBI so that I could read the DVD on my Kindle, but the tables came out poorly. Anything I can do differently to give me a more readable document on the Kindle 3?

I bought the ebook of Operation World, wanting to read it on my Kindle Fire. But I had difficulty opening up web pages on my Kindle Fire, so I purchased the ebook (mobi) through my Mac. Now I can't get the ebook transferred to my Kindle Fire.
What can I do?

Please reactivate my link to download. I live overseas and was not able to download yet. I have to choose when I can download because of speeds. I began once, but had to stop because of amount on download available. I didn't realize the link would not be available until I was able to complete the download. Thank you.
