Specific Device and Firmware Version: nook 1.5
Content type: PDF
App/Software name/version: N/A
Overall rating (Fail, Poor, Good, Excellent): Poor
Comments: no pan and zoom capability. Magnification settable only indirectly by setting text size. Does not reflow pages with images. Pages with images have nearly unreadably small text. No apparent way to activate links.

Specific Device and Firmware Version: nook 1.5
Content type: ePUB
App/Software name/version: N/A
Overall rating (Fail, Poor, Good, Excellent): Good
Comments: Generally very readable. Table of contents accessible as Go To in menus. Content hierarchy is flattened in Go To, but still fairly easy to navigate due to ballistic touch screen (a rapid flick of the finger will scroll further than the visible entries). Some cropping of tables at right, even at smallest text size. Some chart and map colors not distinguishable on grayscale display.

Just a quick note. To move the ePub or PDF version of Operation World to your nook (ePub is preferred but not included on the CD-ROM):

1. Attach your Nook using the USB cable to your computer. In Windows it will load like a flash drive, in Mac it will mount like a flash drive.
2. In Windows, open up "Computer" or Windows Explore or in Mac open the Finder.
3. Go to the root or first folder of the DVD or CD ROM
4. Right click on the ePub or PDF file and click copy
5. Go to the Nook, you wills see several folders
6. Open the "My Documents" folder, right click in that folder and select paste. Do not copy the book to the ePub folder, that folder is only for books from your Barns and Noble account
7. The Operation World book should now be on your Nook in your "My Documents" folder
